You could be our EPA Business Advisor?

This role is known internally as Business Development Manager.

Up to £39,000 per annum
Full-time
Permanent

Stevenage (with hybrid working)

At the IET, making our world a better place starts by creating a better place for our people.

At the IET you’ll have more than just a job. Our work is exciting and challenging, connecting the people who solve the problems that matter. It means working with us has real meaning and impact, and you’ll grow – professionally and personally – in ways you never thought possible.

We’re also making significant investments in our people, including providing a modern, vibrant workplace and embracing hybrid working.

What you'll be doing

The IET is a rapidly growing End Point Assessment Organisation committed to delivering high quality apprentice assessments for our valued Apprenticeship Provider and Employer customers.

In this role, you'll lead our success, analysing the IET EPA market and implement strategies to acquire and retain customers.

You'll nurture relationships with Apprenticeship Providers and their apprentices, providing reliable guidance and ensuring they understand and trust our assessment process.

You will also engage with customers across England both in-person and virtually, fostering relationships that drive our mission forward.

While the role offers flexibility with home-based work, occasional visits to our headquarters in Stevenage will keep you aligned with our team and goals.

What we hope you can bring to the role

You will have good knowledge and understanding of the apprenticeship landscape and endpoint assessment, including experience working directly with apprenticeships, apprenticeship providers, and apprentices.

Previous engineering experience would be advantageous, it's not essential.

You will be proficient in planning and coordinating and have a background in account management and negotiating agreements along with the ability to procure and manage data effectively.

Additionally, you will be proficient in effectively procuring and managing data, as well as adept at creating presentations and generating statistical reports.

We’d love to get to know you

Is Imposter syndrome creeping in? Don’t worry – we’d rather hear from you this time than not hear from you at all!
