At the IET you’ll have more than just a job. Our work is exciting and challenging, connecting the people who solve the problems that matter. It means working with us has real meaning and impact, and you’ll grow – professionally and personally – in ways you never thought possible.

We’re also making significant investments in our people, including providing a modern, vibrant workplace and embracing hybrid working.

What you'll be doing

As a Courses Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of our portfolio of technical and professional development courses. Supporting both in-person and online training, you'll oversee course administration from initial planning through to post-course evaluation, ensuring a seamless experience for trainers, delegates, and stakeholders.

Working closely with the Courses Manager, Professional Skills team, Customer Services, Marketing colleagues, and external trainers, you'll coordinate registrations, manage course communications, arrange logistics, maintain accurate records, and monitor course performance. You'll also support the continuous improvement of our training programmes through the analysis of feedback, reporting, and process enhancements.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and thrives when managing multiple priorities in a dynamic learning environment.

What we hope you can bring to the role

We're looking for an organised and proactive coordinator with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. You'll have experience working in a customer-focused or administrative environment and be comfortable managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will be confident working with systems and data, able to maintain accurate records, produce reports, and identify opportunities for improvement. You'll be a collaborative team player who enjoys solving problems, supporting customers, and ensuring every course runs smoothly from start to finish.
