Stevenage with Hybrid Working

At the IET, making our world a better place starts by creating a better place for our people.

At the IET you’ll have more than just a job. Our work is exciting and challenging, connecting the people who solve the problems that matter. It means working with us has real meaning and impact, and you’ll grow – professionally and personally – in ways you never thought possible.

We’re also making significant investments in our people, including providing a modern, vibrant workplace and embracing hybrid working.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Accreditation Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the academic accreditation process, ensuring that universities meet the highest standards.

Working closely with the Academic Accreditation, UK Operations Manager, you will oversee the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of accreditation activities across a broad range of institutions.

Your expertise will ensure the smooth running of accreditation visits, the effective management of processes, and the delivery of exceptional service to universities and volunteer accreditors.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing accreditation procedures, providing guidance on policies, and supporting users of our Accreditation Database and Management System (ADAMS).

You will work closely with senior academics and industry professionals, supporting decision-making processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

If you have a passion for education standards, an eye for detail, and enjoy building relationships with key stakeholders, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and improve academic accreditation processes at the IET.

What we hope you can bring to the role

We’re ideally looking for someone with experience in accreditation, education administration, or quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in process improvement, training, and supporting digital systems. You should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively, ensuring that accreditation processes run efficiently and effectively.

Knowledge of higher education governance or professional accreditation frameworks would be an advantage.

Please note this role will require overnight stays within the UK (circa 8 x 1-night stays per annum depending on business need).
